George Orwell's 1984

The America of Donald Trump shows little contrast to the dreary oppressive world of George Orwell's 1984.  True, we are much more content and pacified by the technology of today than Orwell's Winston Smith, and it is possible to totally ignore the world around us.  There are so many options available to avoid reality. Pull yourself out of the binge-watching of Hulu, Netflix, and the other distractions of 2018, and read a fucking book.

This book is a must read for everyone.  If you've read it before, it's time to read it again.
