Elected officials in Wisconsin will also be well represented. Speakers include: Sen. Russ Feingold, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton, Rep. Mark Pocan, State Sen. Fred Risser, State Sen. Mark Miller, Mayor Dave, Dane County Exec Kathleen Falk, City Council member Marcia Rummel, and Former Mayor Paul Soglin. And Madison's own Michael Feldman, Dave Zweifel, John Nichols, and Ed Garvey will also be throwing in their two cents.
In addition, the University of Wisconsin Press is publishing Democracy in Print: The Best of The Progressive, 1909-2009, this April. Copies will be available at the conference.
