The Posture of Memory

Hey Everyone,
This was going to be the holiday podcast, but then Odetta passed away (12/31/1930-12/2/2008), and now she's dominating this episode, cause an important piece of culture is gone, plus some weird time travel memory stuff, and a pitch for dough, which is not unusual in itself, to say the least.
So, take a moment, drop whatever holiday craziness you're doing, have a break, forget Santa, and have a listen.
This is called "The Posture of Memory"

Radio Free Exile Podcast

featuring music & spoken word from:

Odetta - "Bourgeois Blues"
Viggo Mortensen reads Howard Zinn
William S. Burroughs - "Thanksgiving Prayer"
Odetta - "House of the Rising Sun"
Lamont Carey - "I Can't Read"
Odetta - "The Midnight Special"
Odetta & Robert Sims - "Down By The Riverside"
